Karen Hyde
It is with immense sadness that we confirm that, after a dignified and courageous battle against illness, our friend and colleague Karen Hyde passed away on 22nd March 2024.
Karen worked as a trust manager for several years with highly respected private client firms in London, before qualifying as a Solicitor in October 2001. She later moved to major firms in Manchester, widening her experience to include disputed probate matters.
Karen joined Bowcock Cuerden in 2013, initially on a temporary placement covering a colleague’s maternity leave, but such was her success in that role that she subsequently became established as a permanent and popular member of our Private Client Team.
Karen held the prestigious Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualification and was a member of the Agricultural Law Association.
Karen will be hugely and sadly missed, not only by her colleagues at the firm, but also by her wide range of Clients and professional contacts, for whom and with whom she carried out her work with such distinction and professionalism.
Karen’s family have asked, please, that no flowers or cards should be sent, but that anyone wishing to do so should please make a donation in Karen’s memory to Macmillan, or to a Charity of their choice.
Our thoughts are with Karen’s family and friends at this tragic time.
